Working together

A Collaborative Approach to Child Protection

Puāwaitahi stands as NZ's first multi-agency service dedicated to child protection. We bring together Te Puaruruhau (Starship Child Protection), Te Toka Tumai Auckland, Te Hā Oranga, New Zealand Police (Auckland City District Police) and Oranga Tamariki under one roof - this innovative collaboration allows us to provide more effective and streamlined care for mokopuna and whānau.

For your wellbeing

Healing, Prevention and Wellbeing
We understand the lasting consequences for children who experience maltreatment. Our mission goes beyond immediate intervention - we aim to support  families heal, prevent future harm through proactive measures and promote healthy development in children. By utilising trauma-informed practices, we aim to minimise the impact of abuse and maximise long-term well-being for all involved.

Let them be little
